Diverticulitis
Diverticulitis is a nasty, horrible, painful and sometimes embarrassing disease. And to make matters worse there is lots of conflicting information about Diverticulitis. This site has been set up just for Diverticulitis.
There used to be this long winded first page about Diverticulitis, then we got this email from Carlos in the US. It has not been edited at all, it is exactly as Carlos wrote. This best describes why most people find our site.
"... I believe you are providing a very helpful service and I intend to share your URL with the doctors and medical personnel with whom I must deal. Who knows if they will listen? I'm sure you know that many of the doctors and nurses we depend upon seem to know so little about the nuts and bolts of dealing with diverticulitis that it can be very frustrating, expensive, and even dangerous to seek their help. I must say that the U.S. medical system is so very broken and some doctors and nurses so uninformed about the day to day and hour to hour struggles associated with diverticulitis that web sites such as yours are all the more important.
Peace,

Keep in mind this site is a generalised information only site, not a medical site and certainly not a replacement for personalised qualified medical advice, the best place for that is your personal qualified medical practictioner, after all everyone is different.
All this site attempts to do is to bring infromation from many sources, including other sites on Diverticulitis together, it is by no means extensive or exhaustive just another source of information.
