Food chart?

Postby Lateralus » Thu Jun 11, 2009 9:47 pm

I was wondering has anyone ever seen a chart or a food reference guide available for people with diverticulitis?

I know that some people may not be able to eat say potatoes with the skins on etc... but I have and havent had any probs.

I was supposed to have emergency surgery as they found a hole straight through in my bowel and that was two years ago. I am now 34 and I wonder if there are any charts or tables out that that anyone has made up for special dieting?

I am also lactose intolerant and it makes it even more difficult for me to eat certain foods not to mention all the nuts and seeds etc....

Great site, Great forum! Very happy to have found this place!

I 'm the father of my daughter that has a diverticulitis problem with other problems and I'm trying to find out as much as I can to help her. Even though she lives in another area I want to be able to make meals that she can eat when she visits. I'm the chief cook and bottle washer at home and want to make food that all of us can eat so she does not feel out of place. I'm reading all that I can regarding this problem. The more info that any one can pass along will be most appreciated.

I have been doing more research into some of the foods out there and Im finding out that there is alot of bad things in our foods.

Soy and corn are now becoming the most GMO infected foods that we eat and are in just about every food. Could be a reason for many diff probs.

Look at Monsanto, the company who was approved to make the genetically altered DNA foods. VERY SCARY!

Hi,
I bought this video a year ago and it is what you say, really shocking...
But...google on Monsanto, look, you find more than gen-tech
aspartame (nutrasweet), growth hormone (in milk), prosecution of farmers (http://www.percyschmeiser.com/MonsantovsFarmerReport1.13.05.pdf)
and other products...

How can we know, what is the real cause of div. and all the other "modern"diseases :?: :?:

Try to eat organic and be keen on food stickers...
avoid MSG, artificial sweeteners, GMO additions, etc.
succes
